The fifth season Sukie Lau Autumn Winter catalogue will be available for download shortly - thanks to everyone for your patience.

As you know its been extremely busy with Pure, followed by the Irish Autumn Fair followed by the NEC and Top Drawer, but we're on it now and hope to have it on the site by the end of next week, naturally we'll let you know when its live...

Our new collection of gorgeous chinois jewellery boxes has just arrived. They are really lovely, in colourways of deep purple, pearly silver and ever popular black.

We have a stunning jewellery chest thats big enough to house all your jewellery collection, and boxes of various sizes and shapes for those of you with more modest collections.

Gorgeous handbags now in stock...!

Our gorgeous handbags are now in stock, and if we do say so they're in bright summery colours, with a focus on Cerise, purple and blue, with a dash of silver for good measure.

We have totes, shoppers and messenger bags as well as a "go anywhere" clutch and they're all deliciously slouchy.

We don't like to be constricted or complicated, so clean, clear lines are the basis for this collection with simple styles that won't date.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter.... the year is flying by..... can't believe its Easter already. If you don't celebrate Easter, join us in celebrating the advent of Spring, everything is waking up and becoming colourful...

Obviously Easter is a big time for chocolates, so here's some chocolate thoughts to share....

We all have massive to do lists, so make it easy on yourself....Make a list of important things to do today. At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate.' Now, you'll get at least one thing done!

Ranking high among the great mysteries of life for every woman is the chocolate mystery.... How can a two pound box of chocolate can make a woman gain five pounds ?

and my personal favourite..... Chocolate is nature’s way of making up for Mondays. (you know its true !)

Jewellery fashion in a recession economy !

Up until recently, its been possible to pinpoint 20 to 30 mini fashion trends every season. Global communication encourages us to get ahead of ourselves, we can see the trends in New York, Paris and Rome, as they’re happening, literally in some cases. As a result new fashion offerings seem to have a short life span, with people tiring of them very quickly and moving on to the next thing.

This year is going to be very different because of the downturn in the global economy. Overriding signs in March 2009 suggest that while, we’ll always follow fashion trends, it looks like there’ll be a resurgence of the times when a few main trends set the tone for a complete fashion season.

For jewellery, the trends are for huge necklaces, big costume jewellery, retro and real vintage gem looks, tribal necklaces, stacked cuff bangles, massive cocktail dress rings and some luxury pieces (think investment ) Fashionable tones of citrus green and orange are hotter than a griddle at the moment. With a splash of rose, pink and plum for good measure !

Whatever clothing trend you follow, adding colour to your wardrobe may be the hottest trend tip at the moment!
